Worked with some pictures set to oil painting "themes" one from the Bahamas and one from Poitn Pleasant Beach....pictures just looked good with a "Oil" theme. The Iroquois Hotel picture came from a recent trip to Broadway in New York City...Looked cool at night ! Several Summer Pictures from Ocean County to enjoy and "Art - Deco Furniture " a handpainted piece from a lil shop in Florida...just neat!

Welcome To "Shutterblog" For April 2009!

Welcome to SPRING, but this edition of Shutterblog I wanted to show a recent road trip to New York State. Here at the Jersey Shore we live at sea-level, so when you go into a "Mountain" area its quite a different experience. Along the way we stopped at Hunter Mountain, Kingston, and Woodstock...to name a few areas, almost ended up in Montreal, Canada! This Month I am featuring several Lighthouses .... Barnegat Lighthouse on LBI built originally in 1835 , Tuckers Island Lighthouse at the Tuckerton Seaport built in 1848, Cape May Lighthouse built in 1859 & Saugerties Lighthouse on the Hudson River in New York built in 1869.
